PASSION DRIVEN CHOICES

Activities that I am passionate about are the ones that I enjoy the most. I think most people can agree. I have been on a journey to discover my passion, so I wanted to share some of what I learned along the way, so here goes….

I choose hobbies that I am able to spend hours on without getting bored and I spend less time on activities that don't fuel my soul. One of my favorite "hobbies" is taking small road trips and disconnecting for a while to recharge and reset. I still have an itinerary when I take a trip, however I am no longer tied to a specific outcome. I have learned to slow down and take in the scenery. I have actually learned to enjoy my surroundings when I am just driving to an appointment. I literally couldn't do any of that a short time ago, this is HUGE for me. Hellooooo Freedom!

I have also found that choosing to socialize with people that share interests similar to mine (personal growth and development) has increased my benchmark for passion. When you are around other passionate people, it's easier to step into your passion without the fear of judgment. No one that is living in their passion has time to judge yours. Just give that a moment to sink in. No one that is living in their passion has time to judge yours!

My career choices also look A LOT different when I make choices based on what I am passionate about vs. making choices based on fear, a lack mentality or a scarcity mindset.

My passion is what led me to my coaching career.

Coaching others provides me a great deal of fulfillment and personal satisfaction. Even though it is a "job", I am devoted to doing it because I get pleasure from it. My work is also meaningful. When I see the positive impact that my work has on others, I get excited. Helping others find fulfillment in their own lives contributes to my fulfillment.

The more I embrace my truth and live with passion, the easier it becomes to make tough decisions in life based on what I am most passionate about.

Today, I choose to live according to the things that drive my heart and soul. I realize that I am more at peace and have more joy when I make choices based on my passion.
